I visited Rajasthan in December 2018 along with my friends. Our journey went through train, travel, and cab. I must say it was one of the best experiences of my life, and I should really love to visit again. Luckily we found a guy in internat who should provide tour packages and maditory things at every place in Rajasthan. I covered Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Alwar, and Jaisalmer in 8 days. I should like to share my itinerary here for your ready reference.
Day 1:We started our journy by train from Bandra Terminus Mumbai on 12th Dec 2018 by DEE Garibrath in 3A; it had charges of around 1000 Rs per person. We had 16 persons so we booked 2 cabs to reach the station. The train leaves Mumbai station at 12:00 PM and reaches Jaipur at Next day 5:55 AM.
Day 2: Arrival in Jaipur
We already booked the travels to reach the hotel around 2 km from the station. Our first morning breakfast at Hotel Nirwana Hometel in Jaipur. (Hotel charges per person 3000 booked from agoda.com). After freshening up we leaved to Jal Mahal, Amber Fort, nighttime is best to see the Central Museum, Hawa Mahal. We enjoyed the night rooftop live musical show at Jaipur Adda in the same hotel (entry fee 500 per person). The next day we leaved the hotel at 10 AM.
Day 3: Jaipur Sightseeing
Full day we explored the Market. In the afternoon, take a walk through the colorful Johare Bazaar. After 6 PM, we go to Choki Dhani local village for dinner (entry entry 3,000 per person). Our boys enjoyed daal bati churma and many more dishes. Overnight we stay in Travel.
Day 4: On the way Alwar
Through Travel We reached Bhangarh Fort, Alwar, around 7:00 AM. (Entry fee 50/-). Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur Sighseeing
The next day visited City Palace and Jantar Mantar and some local temple site seeings.
Day 6: Jaipur To Jaisalmer
Next day we reached Jaisalmer Narayan Niwas Palace. Visit the Jain temple inside the sonar quila. Visited Havelis with convoluted designs and latticed windows such as Patwon ki Haveli (entry fee 100/-). We visited the Gadisar Lake (there are no charges to visit the Gadiser Lake).
Day 7: Jaisalmer sighseeing
Most interesting day was Way to Jaiselmer Fort (entry fee 50/-). From Jaiselmer, went a bus for Khuri. (Khuri is a village which 50 km from Jaisalmer deep into the thar) and went on a desert trip to Sam Sand Dunes. Thar desert (no entry fee, Camel Safari 20-200, Jeep Safari 500-$1500/-). At the desert, we stay in the Helsinki Desert camp owned by Badal Singh. (Calls $1,000 per person include stay, meal, and camel ride.) We enjoyed hunting music, folk dance, and singing performances. We had stayed in the desert overnight under an open sky with star glazing. This is one experience for a lifetime. (Horribly cold weather night in December).
Day 8: We visited Kuldhara Village, which is 22 km from Sam Sand Dunes. Then we way to Jodhpur.
Day 9: Jaisalmer To Jodhpur
First sighting in Jodhpur was Umed Bhavan Palace. Where Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas just knotted. We visit Jaswant Thada and Mehrangarh Fort. At night came back to Jaipur to Mumbai on 21 Dec 2018.

Winter is perfect for camel safaris in Thar Desert Jaisalmer, sightseeing at Jaipur’s Amber Fort, and boat rides on Udaipur’s serene lakes. winter remains the most favorable for a comprehensive and enjoyable experience.
